With its combination of authentic Singaporean breakfast traditions, quality preparation methods, and convenient accessibility, Ya Kun Kaya Toast continues to serve as an essential destination for customers seeking nostalgic comfort food experiences.
Poor quality control of drinks. Ordered an iced kopi siu dai, milk to coffee ratio is completely off. Basically a cup of coffee with a splash of evaporated milk. Visited the same outlet about a month ago, with the same person making the drinks. Dude obviously needs more training as there isnβt any improvement seen? $4.30 for a cup of crappy coffee from Ya Kun? Seriously? Would have asked for a new cup but I fear waiting in line for another 15 mins for the same standard. Kopitiam kopi also better pls.

I haven't order thick toast for awhile, usually go for traditional, not sure this is what it is now. *But I remember it was a thicker bread before π .

Iβve dined at this outlet twice and, unfortunately, both experiences fell short compared to other Ya Kun branches. On both occasions, I ordered Set B with kaya peanut butter toast. Both times, the soft-boiled eggs had bits of eggshell in them, and water wasnβt properly drained from the plate before cracking the eggs, affecting the texture. The toast itself was cold, the bread tasted stale, and there was barely any filling β it felt like I was just eating plain bread. Iβm a big fan of Ya Kun, but this outlet doesnβt meet the usual standards and risks damaging the brandβs good reputation

Extremely bad attitude by a guy at the counter taking orders. The lady previously at the counter was so much better. Ya Kun should offer proper training of its service staff, given Ya Kunβs branding. Extremely disappointing. We are a regular of Ya Kun, but skipped ordering from the store, given the extremely rude attitude.

Iβm a frequent coffee drinker. But I never seen, the place is clean and well organised. It is clean!!! And the service is friendly and well spoken, with greeting!! Iβm impressed by the serving with smile. Very impressive!!πππππππ.

The coffee was good, as expected. However, the National Day Special Durian Kaya Toast Set (which includes drinks and toast only, without eggs) was unremarkable and not worth the $6.50 price tag.

Lovely breakfast place! Very tasty Kaya which complements well with toast/French toast or as a steamed bun! Regarding coffee, you need to specify that you do not want sugar because sugar will be added by default in a local Singapore coffee shop!

Probably Singaporeβs favorite coffee stop. Get your range of coffee here with their signature toast. Plenty of seats and self service collection and tray return.

Regular visit is a must. Great for breakfast. Children loves it! Sometimes need to wait awhioe for seat because limited seat due to pandemic measurement. Friendly and helpful staffs, providing good service even sometimes help to find a seat. Five stars for the food and service. Highly recommended!

My favourite breakfast spot, the tea is smooth and I love dipping the steamed bread into my eggs. It's like a sponge absorbing the goodness. Today is a PH so it's extra busy. Waited 20minutes for my takeaway but it's fine. I just feel bad for the staff as some impatient customers were asking for their eggs and toast. Seeing that it's crowded especially on a PH, I thought one should know better than to wait. Personally if I can't wait, I'll just grab a quick bite elsewhere. The staff were all busy trying their best to complete the orders, it's not like they were slacking off. Kudos to the staff :)

Yakun is the best way to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee or tea. Love their soft boiled eggs best β€οΈ

I had egg mayo sandwich and ice milo. Both is very delicious, they give a lot of egg mayo and the ice milo is very thick.
I had a fantastic experience with Leo! He is incredibly friendly and approachable, making me feel comfortable from the start. The service he provided was top-notch, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Visited on a Sunday at around 12pm, plenty of seats available with no queue at all. Staff were friendly and ready to help
We tried the SG60 special D24 durian kaya toast and Iced Moki, a little on the pricey side but both of them were so good. Highly recommended! The OG kaya butter toast was also prepared fresh and they were generous with the kaya & butter
Highly recommended for a classic local breakfast

Early morning before 9am , no queue and dined in with 4 pax.
Half boiled eggs are prepared in warm and eggshells removed. Below SG5 for a set of 2x half boiled eggs, 1x toast and 1x drink that's call a day.
Here, french toast very worth to have a try.

I ordered a Kayak toast with butter set today. To be honest, this is the best Kaya toast I have ever eaten.
The special little crispy toast stuffed Kaya spread combined with creamy salted butter melt in your mouth right away.
And the set meal came with two poached eggs. Singaporean style usually add little soy sauce and white pepper, you can eat eggs with Kaya toast. It is so weird for me but trust me, it tasted really good.
After Kaya toast and poached eggs, I finished this meal with a cup of hot milk tea. I believed the milk tea is a kind of Hong-kongest style. Strong black tea aroma with condensed milk.
If you come to Singapore, you have to try this at Ya Kun Cafe.
