The coffee was good, as expected. However, the National Day Special Durian Kaya Toast Set (which includes drinks and toast only, without eggs) was unremarkable and not worth the $6.50 price tag.

Poor quality control of drinks. Ordered an iced kopi siu dai, milk to coffee ratio is completely off. Basically a cup of coffee with a splash of evaporated milk. Visited the same outlet about a month ago, with the same person making the drinks. Dude obviously needs more training as there isn’t any improvement seen? $4.30 for a cup of crappy coffee from Ya Kun? Seriously? Would have asked for a new cup but I fear waiting in line for another 15 mins for the same standard. Kopitiam kopi also better pls.

Lovely breakfast place! Very tasty Kaya which complements well with toast/French toast or as a steamed bun! Regarding coffee, you need to specify that you do not want sugar because sugar will be added by default in a local Singapore coffee shop!

I haven't order thick toast for awhile, usually go for traditional, not sure this is what it is now. *But I remember it was a thicker bread before 🍞 .

Probably Singapore’s favorite coffee stop. Get your range of coffee here with their signature toast. Plenty of seats and self service collection and tray return.

I’ve dined at this outlet twice and, unfortunately, both experiences fell short compared to other Ya Kun branches. On both occasions, I ordered Set B with kaya peanut butter toast. Both times, the soft-boiled eggs had bits of eggshell in them, and water wasn’t properly drained from the plate before cracking the eggs, affecting the texture. The toast itself was cold, the bread tasted stale, and there was barely any filling — it felt like I was just eating plain bread. I’m a big fan of Ya Kun, but this outlet doesn’t meet the usual standards and risks damaging the brand’s good reputation

Regular visit is a must. Great for breakfast. Children loves it! Sometimes need to wait awhioe for seat because limited seat due to pandemic measurement. Friendly and helpful staffs, providing good service even sometimes help to find a seat. Five stars for the food and service. Highly recommended!

My favourite breakfast spot, the tea is smooth and I love dipping the steamed bread into my eggs. It's like a sponge absorbing the goodness. Today is a PH so it's extra busy. Waited 20minutes for my takeaway but it's fine. I just feel bad for the staff as some impatient customers were asking for their eggs and toast. Seeing that it's crowded especially on a PH, I thought one should know better than to wait. Personally if I can't wait, I'll just grab a quick bite elsewhere. The staff were all busy trying their best to complete the orders, it's not like they were slacking off. Kudos to the staff :)

Yakun is the best way to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee or tea. Love their soft boiled eggs best ❤️
