Tombo Warek at Changi City Point offers authentic Indonesian cuisine, specializing in ayam penyet (smashed fried chicken) that has garnered enthusiastic praise from customers. The restaurant has established itself as a destination for flavourful Indonesian dishes served at reasonable prices. Customer Sufiah Solehah highly recommends the ayam penyet, describing it as amazingly nice, awesome, and powerful, noting that the chicken is big, fresh, and tender with superb sambal that is spicy but not overwhelming. While the restaurant has faced some food quality concerns, with al ace reporting cold dishes that appeared to come directly from the chiller, the overall dining experience remains positive for many customers who appreciate the authentic Indonesian flavours and generous portions.
The menu at Tombo Warek features a comprehensive selection of Indonesian favourites that showcase the diverse culinary traditions of the Indonesian archipelago. The signature ayam penyet stands out as the star dish, featuring tender smashed fried chicken that is marinated in traditional spices and served with crispy tempeh, tofu, and vegetables. The sambal that accompanies the dishes receives particular praise for its balanced heat and flavour profile. Other Indonesian classics likely include nasi goreng, mie goreng, and various sambal-based dishes that cater to different spice tolerances. The restaurant maintains affordable pricing while offering generous portions that provide good value for money, making it an attractive option for those seeking authentic Indonesian cuisine without the premium price tag.
Located within Changi City Point, Tombo Warek provides convenient access to Indonesian cuisine for shoppers, office workers, and local residents. The restaurant operates during mall hours, offering lunch and dinner services in a comfortable indoor setting that provides relief from Singapore's tropical heat. While the restaurant has received some criticism about food temperature control and staff attentiveness, many customers appreciate the delicious food and reasonable pricing. The management should address the food quality and service issues raised by customers to maintain consistency and ensure that all dishes are served hot and fresh. Tombo Warek continues to serve as a reliable option for those craving Indonesian flavours in Singapore's eastern dining scene.

Very sneaky on charging. Be honest. Check what you paid for people. Watch it. Dont go away thinking you can take your customer for a ride. Wrong target Mdm.

food was bad! order a white rice, fried chicken, kang kong, terung and telur asin.Guess what only the white rice is hot the rest of it is cold just like coming out from the chiller. Understand that the place is indoor with aircon all that but come on lah check on your food. People pay for the food and this is what we get. Ask the staff stop playing the phone and chevk on the food quality!

The food from the stall is good and delicious The cleaners keep shouting and banging. So noisy. The whole place is comfortable. It’s inside the mall not outside.
