The restaurant was almost empty with just one diner having her meal. We were the first to order, and yet the service was incredibly slow. The boat noodles and fried dishes came out reasonably quickly, but we waited far too long for the Pad Thai—which should be a simple dish to prepare. The tofu in the pad thai was sour. When it finally arrived, it was extremely disappointing. The Pad Thai was far from authentic, lacking the flavors and quality you’d expect. Given that the restaurant was practically empty, there’s no excuse for the delays or the poor quality of the food. Definitely not a place I’d return to.

The Original Boat Noodle in Singapore offers affordable, halal noodles in a cozy, casual setting. The restaurant's charming decor and convenient location make it an ideal spot for a quick meal. The small servings of boat noodles are flavorful and allow you to try different varieties without committing to a large portion. Each dish is well-seasoned, with authentic Thai flavors. It’s a great place for a casual meal with friends or family, especially if you enjoy tasting a variety of noodle dishes. Overall, it provides good taste at a reasonable price, making it a popular choice.

Food is average. I think $2.20 for a boat noodle at this mediocre standard. It's too pricey. Ordered the omelette with rice. It's a little bland but tastes better with the fish sauce added. Haha. The creamy Tom yum isn't creamy. I think the mama instant noodle is better. Haha.

Good service and decent Thai food. Reasonable for sure. The minced chicken and phad Thai were great. Fish cakes were awesome,.we had 2 plates. Mango sticky rice could have been better on the mango bit, not sweet and the noodles are literally sampler sizes for 1.5. I rather they charge more and give something more substantial. Overall for the price a great meal out!

I cant stand how lukewarm their boat noodles are! At first i ordered 2 bowls of kway chap to try, its very lukewarm or infact kinda cold. I thought the others might be okay, ordered another 2 normal bowls of beef boat noodles also its also cold and lukewarm! Super bad to serve the noodles in this state... Service is not very good too, spotted something very unhygienic. The waitress serve the boat noodles with her tumb almost touching the soap, she had grab the bowl way in and her thumb is just maybe 2 or 3mm away from the noodles....very u hygienic to serve this way... The only dish i feel its still okay is the fried palaya salad..
