The breads are expensive and the filling they used are just normal inexpensive ingredients. First bakery that I have come across that charges for plastic bag! And the exterior packaging of the breads are always oily yet they expect customers to pay for plastic bag. Other bakeries even if they charge they go by EXTRA bags that customers requested. They will just make customers reduce their purchases quantity since nobody pays for plastic bag in bakeries and we cannot be carrying oily packaging or putting in our bags or car. Yikes. Do not recommend this bakery.

So happy that they are in the East now! Slightly more cake offerings here and i finally got my hands on the mochi buns (which is usually sold out by afternoon at Holland V) today! Try their various tin bread series and the Castella cakes, very soft and not so sweet (subtle Asian nod 🙂↕️).

Chocolate mochi bread was soft and not too sweet, the mochi added a good texture as well. I think it could use more chocolate to it as it’s quite plain tasting.

Another Thai Baang branch offers soft and delicious bread. They also have cakes! The staff are friendly. I love their banana chocolate cake!

Wah, I just left the bakery and ate a piece of the bread I bought. Some apple bread thing for $4. The bread is so soft and yummy and the filling in the bread is quite generous! Will return to try other bread.

Accidentally bumped into this bakery while I was looking for food to takeaway. The staff said they had moved from Lavender. Today, I bought ikan bilis flavour. It was delicious bread. It was quite spicy toward the end, but the taste was promising. For this price, I'm quite sure I'll be back again. I tried their curry chicken, sardine, and raisin cheese. So far, their savoury buns are good ones.
