VMware Administrator (vMotion and Storage vMotion)

Position: Contract (1 year, Renewable)

Work Location: Loyang/Ayer Raja/Changi City Point

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled VMware Administrator with hands-on experience in vMotion and Storage vMotion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of VMware environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer VMware vSphere environments.
• Perform vMotion and Storage vMotion operations to ensure optimal resource usage and minimal downtime.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot virtualization-related issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades on virtual infrastructure.
• Assist with capacity planning and storage management in virtual environments.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual machines.
• Collaborate with network and storage teams to support virtualization needs.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on expertise in vMotion and Storage vMotion operations.
• Solid understanding of virtual networking and storage concepts.
• Experience with VMware tools for performance monitoring and resource allocation.
• Ability to troubleshoot VMware-related issues independently.
• Good knowledge of server hardware and storage systems.
