Shi Li Fang is my favorite hotpot in Singapore! The staff at this branch are very friendly and always check if we need to top up the soup. They also have vegetarian options, which is great. Today I realized each hotpot has its own smoke extractor system — so nice! No more hotpot smell after eating. Really love it!

Table 6, was introduced by very nice and friendly lady (Lina)! She made my family of 8 felt so comfortable dining at the restaurant by recommending to us the different dishes and ongoing promotion! I will definitely come again next time!

I have been an avid supporter of Shi Li Fang since they opened. They have been good as it's cheap and nice. I have never had this situation before but it led to utter disappointment and made me question their hygiene and service attitude. We were 2 pax and ordered 1 set with some alarte carte dishes as their set can be pretty full as most of you know. Hence with 1 set, they served us a small pot which is understandable. I noticed a burning smell that was coming from the pot which was unusual from the norm but we thought maybe it was just a change of soup recipe so we didn't think much of it. We put in the vegetables and after a few minutes, probably 2-3 minutes later, the smell got stronger so we tasted the soup and tasted a burnt taste like 'chao da' in the soup. Thereafter, we alerted the service crew and asked them to change the soup as we tasted the burnt taste. He was friendly and said we shouldn't put too much at a time and assisted us to "change the soup". It was only a few minutes when we put the vegetables and i don't think its a lot and it couldn't be so burnt just after a few minutes. The only possible reason is the 'charred' portion was already there when it was served. So after a good few minutes, he came back with the soup and the vegetables. We thought he'd changed the pot at the very least as it was burnt and proceeded to dip the vegetables in and let it boil. After a few minutes, to our horror, it wasn't changed and the burnt smell was there, after stirring, we can feel the charred part was still there. I'm not sure whether is it because they thought that we burnt the pot so they didn't change for us or what but as a restaurant, this made me question their service attitude and their hygiene as they think that it is ok to eat like this? Tbh, look at the big charred part, does it look like it can be done in a few minutes? Imagine letting the ingredients cook in the pot with the charred part which it will still come out as we cook, we're basically eating food with the 'chao da' which is carcinogenic. I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted by their service. I didn't even bother to ask them to change because i have already mentioned once and what they did is give us back the same thing so what's the point. I'm never going back to SHI LI FANG NOR THIS BRANCH. Don't even bother to delete my comment as I'll re-comment if you delete it. Thank you. And i believe the cashier did not even bother to ask us to check and there was an extra $2.90 being charged to us as we only ordered 1 set with the platter changed to set C which would be another $0.50 charged but there was another charge for another vegetable platter for $2.90 which we didn't order.

Ordered: Chicken, pork and beef set for 2 pax. Greeted by a spacious and clean ambiance, but unfortunately, there is a lingering smell of aged meat. The steamboat ingredients are primarily processed foods. However, the quality of the meats is questionable. The pork meat, riddled with bones and hints of blood, raised concerns about its freshness. This lack of freshness became even more apparent when my partner and I suffered from severe diarrhea that persisted long after our visit. We refrained from consuming anything else post-steamboat, leaving no doubt about the source of our discomfort.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved dining at Shilifang Hotpot! The service was top-notch — staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to any requests. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the soup bases which were rich and aromatic. There was a great variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables, and the dipping sauce station was well-stocked. The place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for gathering with friends or family. Highly recommended for hotpot lovers
