The food is good, but maybe alittle tad bit salty. Then surrounding atmosphere is clean and nice. Came on a Thursday evening. There wasn’t much crowd here. I like to mention Auntie Geok, she was nice and patience. Make my simple dinner here a nice one.

Value for money jap food. Ordered the black garlic ramen, fried rice and some gyōza. Food is pretty decent for the price. At least the ramen broth was flavourful and so was the fried rice. I'd come back here again. They also have a membership program using your mobile number

Visited Menzo Butao at Changi City Point and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ramen. It’s a cozy spot tucked away in the mall, but the flavors are anything but ordinary. Tried their Butao Tonkotsu Ramen – the broth was rich, creamy, and full of umami without being overly heavy. The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the noodles had a nice springy bite. You can adjust the richness, spiciness, and noodle firmness, which is a great touch for ramen fans who like it just right. Also had the gyoza on the side – crisp on the bottom, juicy inside, and a perfect pairing with the ramen. The service was fast and polite, and prices were very reasonable considering the quality and portion size. Overall, Menzo Butao is a great spot for a quick and satisfying Japanese meal in the East. Whether you’re a ramen lover or just looking for a comforting bowl of noodles, this place won’t disappoint.

The service at Menzo Butao @ Changi City Point could be more attentive. The staff didn’t take away the menu after we placed our order, leaving the table feeling crowded. I also found it unclear how they portion the dishes, as only one egg was served with the ramen. On the positive side, the fried rice was flavorful and well-cooked. However, the pork chop was disappointing—too dry and overly salty. The ramen itself was just average and didn’t stand out. Additionally, the cold barley tea wasn’t refilled, which left me wondering if it’s even refillable. Overall, there’s room for improvement in both the food quality and the dining experience.

Took way too long to serve our meals. At least a good 20mins wait. The same orders (ie fried rice/ ramen) were all served for different tables at the same time (even for tables who were 3 to 4 tables after us.). Disappointing food. Free eggs were normal hard boiled and the onsen eggs. Way under staffed on a sat afternoon. Lady who served us were nice though.
