Waited very long to order due to their poor online system, even their staffs also don’t know how to use it. After nearly half of an hour we were eventually served our prawn noodles with the unexpected black prawn poo-poo in every prawn.
Soup was good and tasty but the bean sprouts were very little.

Food came 45 mins late. Order forgotten in the system until I checked with staff.
Noodles and soup ok but not worth the price
Braised platter came cold, light taste, meat too fatty for my liking

Aircon, mall. Comfortable, staff serves to you. Most worthwhile 1030-1130am. I ordered dry noodles, which comes with a small plate mock goose and chrysanthemum tea ($8.80, the promo. Had some trouble ordering through QR, staff still honoured the free drink). Expert presentation because it looks like many prawns, actually each prawn is split half and placed on top. The soup is ok, the dry noodles seasoning is ok. Nothing remarkable, nothing bad either. Shared a plate Set B (ngoh hiang, fish cake, spring roll, prawn fritters) with colleague. Spring roll is really oily, colleague said is like putting on a layer of lip gloss💄🫦. Spring roll is too nauseating, we did not finish. The other items are ok. I would not purposefully make a trip to eat, will eat if walk by and feel like it.

We ordered 1 bowl normal prawn noodle, another pork rib prawn noodle, also Ngo Hiang.
The normal prawn noodle came with 3pcs of shelless full prawn, while the other came with 2pcs pork rib and 3pcs of prawn too.
Personally I think the broth from here was very diluted compared to other prawn noodle shop I have tried. The Ngo Hiang was pretty decent.
Apart from the broth, we do enjoy our meals..
Lastly I order Kopi O but they serve me Kopi milk instead...

We enjoyed the meal . Great soup , fresh prawns, and good service . Reasonably priced, too . Perhaps one of the best . They need to have extra staff to cater for the busy period . Strongly recommend !

Ordered the small prawn noodle as I didn’t have to peel.
Taste wise it’s good for the dry one. Soup is also flavourful. They have a promo for various barbecue seafood 8.80.

If you’re craving prawn noodles, this place hits the spot! Spacious and comfortable, it’s a great spot to enjoy a satisfying bowl without feeling cramped. The prawn noodles are tasty and come at an affordable price—definitely value for money. Don’t miss the chendol either—refreshing and just perfect for the hot weather!

Prawn noodles specialist. Hearty and warming prawn/ pork broth is good. Hit the spot for a prawn noodles.
However, not recommedned to order the other items on the menu e.g. the stingray (too dry) or the fishpaste beancurd (ordinary beancurd taste better). Just stick to the prawn noodles.

The prawn noodles soup was very fragrant and not salty at all. The price is also affordable with drinks at promo price. Staff are very friendly and always smiling. There to help whenever we have any questions. Great place for food!

We stumbled upon Hoe Nam River South Prawn Noodles by chance, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be.
As seafood lovers, we truly enjoyed the dishes we ordered—flavourful, fresh, and well-prepared. Every bite was satisfying, though we did find ourselves wishing the portions were a bit larger.
The atmosphere was casual and inviting, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.
Definitely a place we’d return to when we’re craving a good seafood fix. And bigger portion please. Thank you.
