Can't agree more with the patrons that give 1 star. I would give zero if there's an option. I came to this branch, asked the cashier if there were samsung watch strap, he gave a blunt "No". Then, after browsing around, found 2 sets locked in the display and asked another staff, Gary. Not only was he rude, he replied sarcastically, "It's a free gift, but if you want, I can sell you". As if I can not afford a $108 item.
Challenger, please review your service protocols and provide proper training/ counselling. These guys are rude and presumptuous. No wonder on a Sat evening there are barely few customers in your store.

Absolutely lousy service. There were 2 regular male staff there when I visited. Asked the younger one whether a certain keyboard is wired, he said no. When I Googled, it was confirmed to be wired. When I tried to verify with the same staff again he rudely said “Wait, wait, wait!” And walked away. Eventually when I paid he did not follow up. If I had not needed the keyboard urgently I would have give this store a wide berth….

You can find many varieties of electronic items there. But don't like how the discount things goes. By joining the members for discount, you ended up paying full or more. If you are not buying anymore things from the shop, so what's the point of joining the member. I ended up buying things somewhere else...

Just visited the store today to buy a laptop. There are 2 male staff at the store. They are unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. When asked about the product, they will give one word and unclear answers and do not bother explaining the terms. They will also always look away and go behind the counter to avoid patrons and do their own things. Do not go to this store and Challenger please look into these two useless workers.

I notice alot of staff walking around eyeballing. But they are hardly helpful. Saw a lot of them playing with their phones. I am technically informed in most of the products, I asked them a few question and they are obviously not technically informed and they talk as if they are, which is super annoying.
Tips for cutting cost, don't hire anymore annoying part time staff that are hardly useful especially when I see a lot of staff just loitering/talking/playing with their phones.

Went in to browse for a powerbank, approached a mid age Chinese salesman for help regarding the fast charge powerbank. He randomly pointed around and just left doing something else. Safe to say I'm never going back there.

Visited outlet to purchase a Brother TN-2460 toner during lunch today. After gotten what is needed, I was walking around the outlet to view other stuff when I bumped to an IPhone display. I picked up the IPhone 16pro as it was strapped to a cable and the alarm sounded off. Then came a staff from the counter to me (Mr Hun), and angrily told me off not to lift the phone in a high pitch tone. And added, "The phone is not meant to be lifted" and walked off to reset the alarm.
I guess, that's not how he should approach a customer with a angry upfront as he has just missed a potential buyer.
I proceeded to pay my purchase and asked his name, while telling him that, he should that.

I used to love shopping here but the stringent check on membership is getting too much. Making us install an useless app and all. I can easily ask my family members to install the app with my login. So it is not going to work k. Things aren't that cheap either. I just like the convenience as there are branches all over. They member's special price is about the same as other places. But the non member proceed is quite expensive.

Two sales men are very lazy. I asked to see the airpods pro and they did not want to take it out from the cabinet to check the spec. They pointed the box inside the mirror. Very unfair customer treatment.
I hope the management will fire these two guys. I felt like I’m a poor customer.

The staff are very patient in this outlet.
There was a customer whom wasn't sure about a particular product he was interested. The salesperson was very kind in explaining the features of the product and how to properly use it.
The cashiers were always putting on a smile. This is one of the best Challenger outlets I have been.

This morning we visited the store to purchase a laptop and received excellent service from Gary and Yean Tat. They were 1. Courteous 2. Helpful 3. Knowledgeable.
It was certainly a joy to shop there. Now that we are members, and with such excellent service, we will definitely head to Challenger in Changi City Point for our tech needs.

A frequent bypass store which I rarely walk in.
First time stepping in and while I was browsing what I need and overheard a customer asking unreasonable questions which I feel, only an engineer would answer.
This particular customer start giving sarcastic comment towards a young staff whom was servicing him.
I felt empathetic especially when I had been in retail myself in the past before.
Challenger should pay their staffs, engineer's salary if they were to allow their employees to deal with such unreasonable customers instead.
I understand in service industries, it common to encounter unreasonable customers, but don't think any human with a sound mind would target any service personnel just to make themselves feel supreme.
I heard the turnover rate in Challenger is quite high which seems like the management may not even took great care of their employee's welfare.
Have some understanding towards any service personnel.
You never know someday when you ended up bankruptcy, a person donating for U meal could be just a retail service personnel, than an certified engineer.

This is a best place I would recommend people who are into sports brands and want to get them little cheaper. As this mall is very famous with it's factory outlets so you can always shop with discounts and enjoy exceptional pricing points. Totally recommended. Avoid weekends due to huge crowds.
